2022.01.17 12:55 ChickenWingBW LiveSplit unable to reset
Hi guys! Today I tried LiveSplit for the first time and set it up w/ Portal 2 with this tutorial: Portal 2 Speedrun Setup Tutorial - YouTube . It had a link for an asl file, and when i fed it into LiveSplit, it worked. The creator said that all three boxes had to be ticked (pic for reference), however, i cannot tick the "reset" box, even though the creator used the same file and it worked perfectly fine for him...

Some organisations believe that their employees should dress smartly. Others value quality of work above appearance.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
You should write at least 250 words.
Some companies nowadays believe that their workers should be well-dressed, in either a suit and tie or collared-shirt, while others prioritize work quality and employee productiveness before their workers' clothing. This essay discusses the merits and negatives of both sides and gives my opinion.
For some companies, having smartly dressed employees brings many benefits. First of all, dressing smartly shows professionalism in the working environment. For example, a company where everyone wears pyjamas in the office would seem less serious than a company where all of the staff are dressed in a suit and tie. Next, being well-dressed increases productivity. According to a study by the University of Oxford, which investigated the test performances of a group of students wearing formal clothes compared to a group wearing casual clothes, the average score of students in formal wear were 30% higher than students wearing casual. This may be due to the test-taking environment in the former seeming more serious and, therefore, increasing competition among students. However, having to pick out and wear formal clothing consumes valuable time that may be spent doing something more productive. An average office worker takes around 12 minutes to choose and put on a suit. In an office of ten people, that is already two hours total wasted on wearing clothes.
On the other hand, when employees prioritize the quality of work over their appearance, they are able to spend more time taking care of company needs as opposed to grooming. Additionally, by providing workers with the freedom of clothing, they are able to get more work done. For instance, a tie may be tight on the neck and cause difficulty of breath and a vest is heavy and hot, especially on a summer day. If the worker were to, instead, wear a casual T-shirt, they could move easier and be more productive. Furthermore, if the worker ever wakes up too late, they no longer need to worry about clothing as they should prioritize getting to the office first. However, dressing informally in a work environment may be less appealing to customers and clients. A recent survey conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, which asked participants to choose between the services of a casual-wearing lawyer and a well-dressed lawyer, showed that 70% opted for the latter, even when the quality of work was the same.
In conclusion, although both views have their own positives and downsides, I believe that employees should dress smartly as it would increase productivity in the workplace, show professionalism and be more attractive to consumers. However, company managers and CEOs should note that the working environment should take precedence over any other aspect in the office.

2022.01.17 12:55 KatKittyKatKitty My child truly does not sleep! Anyone else go through this? Just want some hope for light at the end of the tunnel.
I have the cutest little baby boy who will be a month old tomorrow. He has a had a few good sleep nights but they are far and few in between. Last night he did one two hour stretch and that even involved me doing some shushing and massaging his shoulders to keep him asleep and calm. For the rest of the night, he did not even do like a hour stretch at a time. He wants on me! Which is flattering but overwhelming.
I am not complaining, he is everything I have ever wanted. Just want to hear from people who also had poor sleepers. I get so jealous when I hear about babies who do two and three hour stretches on a regular basis. We have started to do some pumped bottles because I am so concerned maybe he’s not eating enough at the breast and that could be the problem?! But he gains well and has tons of dirty diapers.
